Police: Felon Found Driving 98 MPH In Guilford With Gun, Drugs
Roger S. Barber, 27, has been charged with criminal possession of a pistol, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, failure to stop on the right and reckless driving over 85 mph.

State police arrested a convicted felon Sunday for a plethora of charges Sunday after they pulled him over driving 98 mph and then found drugs and a loaded gun in his car.
On Sunday, Connecticut State Police charged Roger S. Barber, 27, 643 Mix Ave. of Apt. 22B, Hamden, with criminal possession of a pistol, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, failure to stop on the right and reckless driving over 85 mph after police said he was pulled over on I-95 at Exit 57 in Guilford going 98 mph in a 65 mph zone.
After police searched his car they found nine small bags containing marijuana bundled into a larger bag, as well as a loaded handgun. Police said Rogers is a convicted felon.
The suspect was taken into custody and held on a $10,000 surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court on Oct. 21.
