Scammers Beware: Be Careful Who You’re Texting/Calling
Scammers texted the wrong number when they texted the Guilford Police Department on Monday.
GUILFORD, CT - The first rule in Scam 101 Class is not to try and pull your bogus act on a local - i.e. Guilford - Police Department.
But that’s what happened Monday when the Guilford police received a scam text.
