Hamden Firefighter Honored For Years Of Service

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Fire Department celebrated several milestones within the department during a ceremony on Monday.

Paul Anderson, the department’s most senior firefighter, received Badge No. 1 in recognition of his years of dedication. Anderson, a Hamden native, completed 27 years of service.

Paul Kobbe was also promoted to Battalion Chief, and Firefighter Paramedic Daniel Ortiz was also welcomed to the department as he begins his service with Hamden.
