Hamden Man Arrested After Stealing Tires & Rims From Cars At Westport Dealerships: Police
Additional arrests are expected, according to police.

WESTPORT, CT — A 22-year-old Hamden man was arrested this week on multiple larceny charges in connection with the theft of tires and rims from several vehicles on the lots of the Honda and Toyota dealerships in Westport, according to authorities.
Brandon Sullo surrendered to Westport on Monday, and was charged with the following:
- First-degree larceny
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny
- Second-degree larceny (3 counts)
- Conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny (3 counts)
According to Westport Police Lt. Eric Woods, the thefts at Honda of Westport and New Country Toyota of Westport occurred last fall.

"Beginning on October 7, 2024 at approximately 3:45 am and continuing intermittently until November 23, 2024, Westport Police investigated four incidents where tires and rims were stolen off of vehicles at Honda and Toyota of Westport," Woods wrote in a statement. "Through the use of surveillance video, search warrants, and law enforcement information sharing, Brandon Sullo was identified as one the people responsible for the alleged theft."
Sullo was released after posting bond on bail of $150,000, and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 5.

"This investigation is ongoing, and we anticipate additional arrests," Woods said.
Following his release, Sullo was turned over to the custody of the Torrington Police Department, which held an active arrest warrant for him, according to Woods.
