Hamden Obituaries: Jane Turner French, 78

Jane Turner French, age 78, formerly of Windsor Rd., Hamden, passed away March 20, 2013.

She was the wife of the late Nelson French and the daughter of the late Will and Edna Turner. She also was the beloved mother of Paul of Wallingford, CT, Daniel of Hamden, CT and Stephen of Milford, CT; loving mother-in-law of Jenni Darius French, Lynn Petrosemolo French, and Cheryl Haynam French, all of CT; the grandmother of Erin, Connor, Turner and Hayden French, all of CT and sister of Ann Turner Browne of Branford.

Jane was passionately involved as a volunteer at St. Rita's Church in Hamden, both as an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist and with the church's RCIA ministry. Prior to her retirement, Jane was a longtime employee of Press/Cuozzo and Beazley Co-Realtors.

Friends may visit with her family on Friday, March 22 from 4-7 p.m. at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, and may attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 23 at 10 a.m. in St. Rita's Church, 1620 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Her interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden.
