Hamden Police Arrest Two More for Armed Robbery
Two more people were arrested last week in connection with an armed robbery that happened in January on Dixwell Avenue.

Hamden Police have made two more arrests in connection with an armed robbery that happened Jan. 30 in a parking lot at 1245 Dixwell Ave.
On March 22, police arrested Timothy Walker, 18, of 108 Ingleside Drive, Hamden, with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.

According to police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith, the victim, a 20-year-old Hamden resident, was talking with an acquaintance in the lot when the acquaintance offered the victim a ride.
After the victim got into the car, a man sitting in the backseat of the car, identified as Walker, "then allegedly held a firearm to the victim’s face and demanded his belongings," Smith said. "Upon approaching First Street, the victim was thrown from the vehicle."

Last week, two more people were arrested on warrants for the incident.
Michael Esposito, 20, of 117 Pearl Avenue, Hamden, and Edward Pantoja, 19, of 111 Bradley Avenue, Hamden, each was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and second-degree larceny.
Each was held in lieu of $150,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on April 8.
