Hamden PTSA Promwear Runway Show a Success

The event raised funds for the After-Prom, which is an alcohol and drug free event where the graduating seniors and their dates can enjoy themselves in a safe environment after the prom has ended.

The Hamden High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association hosted the Class of 2013 “Prom Wear Runway Show” on March 15 at Hamden High School.  Members of the HHS Senior Class modeled both Prom wear and After-Prom wear.

The evening’s theme was James Bond 007 and included a special modeling appearance by HHS Principal Gary Highsmith. With assistance from HHS Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Eric Nyquist and members of Hamden Mainstage Ensemble, the event raised funds for the After-Prom, which is an alcohol and drug free event where the graduating seniors and their dates can enjoy themselves in a safe environment after the prom has ended.

HHS PTSA hopes to make this event free to all who attend. Donations are welcome and should be made payable and mailed to HHS-PTSA After-Prom, Hamden High School, 2040 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, CT 06514.
