Latest Storm Expected To Do Little Damage to Hamden

Our friends at the National Weather Service are predicting that the latest storm moving toward New England could bring only a dusting of new snow to the area. Which is a good thing, because we just finished clearing out from the last snowfall!

Friday evening an inch of snow was predicted to fall, and here is the rest of the weekend forecast for Hamden. As always, share your photos with us -- even a dusting can make for beautiful landscapes.

• Saturday: A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain and snow. Cloudy, with a high near 38. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Saturday Night: Light snow likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 20. North wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
• Sunday: A slight chance of snow showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 31. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 11. Northwest wind 10 to 16 mph.
