Looking for a Home: Shane

He had a rough start in life, getting beat up by other dogs in his former home, but now Shane is ready for a new start with a new family. He's available at the New Haven Animal Shelter.

One and a Half-Year-Old Shane was living in a situation where he was constantly beat up over food by an alpha male in the home he shared. He and his housemates were not being cared for in a manner suitable for any human or pet.

That is part of his past, but his future story involves an attentive family in a loving home with toys, walks and love. He is so very submissive that he falls over on his back as soon as you look at him and will crawl to anyone nearby just for a belly rub.

He is a very sweet boy that does get along with other dogs, but considering the suffering he endured he would be allowed to blossom and enjoy being the only pet for awhile.
