Obituary: Dorothy L. McGlynn, 98, formerly of Hamden
Dorothy, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, served as a school teacher for the Town of Hamden for many years.
HAMDEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) In Hartford February 21, 2021 Dorothy L. McGlynn 98, formerly of Hamden has passed away.
Wife of the late John J. McGlynn. Loving mother of Brian McGlynn of Cary, NC, Michael McGlynn of Westport, Gael Maher of Ivoryton and Nancy Carpentier of E. Haddam.
Also survived by her 12 cherished grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by a daughter Ellin Fallon and a brother Harold LaBelle, Jr. Dorothy was born in New Haven January 26, 1923 daughter of the late Harold and Gertrude Heery LaBelle, Sr.
She was a graduate of St. Francis School.

Mrs. McGlynn retired after many years as a school teacher for the Town of Hamden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated privately in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave.
