Obituary: Josephine Creegan, 90, of Hamden
Josephine, known for her kindness and compassion, was deeply religious, a dedicated volunteer and lovingly devoted to her loved ones.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home) Josephine Creegan, 90, a lifelong Hamden resident, died Dec. 2nd at Whitney Rehab. after a long illness.
She was the loving wife of the late William Creegan. Born in Hamden, daughter of the late Pasquale & Rose Testa Bozzuto, Josephine was known as the family caretaker due to her kindness and compassion.
She was a deeply religious person, who volunteered to help those in need.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, bingo & spending time with the grandkids. She is survived by sons; Bill (Carol) Creegan of F.L, and Chris Creegan of Hamden. Daughters; Elizabeth (Robert) Civitello of Killingworth, and Karen Creegan of Hamden, a sister Phyllis Delgrego of Hamden, and Grandchildren; Katherine & Sam Civitello.
She was predeceased by 6 siblings.
Funeral services will be held MONDAY at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and at 11 A.M. in Blessed Sacrament Church.
Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:15 - 10:15 A.M.
