QU Women Ranked Ninth In College Insider Mid-Major Poll
Quinnipiac University has another top 10 team -- this time, the women's basketball team.
The Quinnipiac women's basketball team was ranked ninth in the most recent College Insider Mid-Major Poll, announced on Tuesday by coaches on the committee.
The Bobcats are 22-2 overall and 13-0 in the NEC and currently contain the nation's sixth longest winning streak - which was extended to 14 games after their win on Monday.

The College Insider Mid-Major poll featured Delaware in the top slot, taking 27 first place votes. Green Bay claimed second, the Bulldogs of Gonzaga garnered third, while Toledo and Chattanooga rounded out the top five.
Other noteworthy teams include No. 21 James Madison, who the Bobcats defeated in their season-opener, and mentions of Hartford, who defeated the Bobcats on Dec. 16th.
