Salvatore Liguore, Jr., 82
He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army and was employed as an Engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration for 30 years until his retirement.

Salvatore Leonard Liguore, Jr., 82, of Hamden, formerly of Wallingford, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Whitney Manor in Hamden. He was the husband of the late Rosemarie Laudano Liguore.
Salvatore was born in New Haven, September 25, 1930, son of the late Salvatore and Carmela Liguore and had been a Wallingford resident for many years before moving to Hamden.
He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as an Engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration for 30 years until his retirement. Salvatore was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his three daughters, Sharon Bukowski and her husband Thomas of Wallingford, Mary Neary of Portland, and Ellie Casciano and her husband Dan of North Carolina; his three sons, Lenny Liguore and his wife Lynn of Ashford, Joe Liguore and his wife Gina of Ledyard and Sal Liguore and his wife Lisa of Missouri; 15 grandchildren, Chris and Mike Liguore, Kate and Kelsey Bukowski, Kristen, Aubrey and Matt Liguore, Sarah and Ryan Neary, Danny, Dylan and Kelly Casciano and Logan, Joey and Julia Liguore; his two sisters, Beatrice Dutcher of California, and Dolores Yester of Branford; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Sarah Bukowski; and his sisters, Paula Overcash, Eleanor Williams.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, from The Wallingford Funeral Home at 10 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be in All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
