Shots Fired at Dixwell Avenue Cafe

Police are investigating a report of shots fired Wednesday night at a Dixwell Avenue bar, allegedly over an iPad.

Officers responded to Mug Shotz Cafe at 1350 Dixwell Ave. at about 11:30 Wednesday night, according to Sgt. Anthony Diaz. Officers learned that there had been a dispute over an iPad, and that during the argument, someone shot a bullet into a chair, Diaz said.

A white man and a white woman then left the bar in a green or dark colored hard top Jeep, Diaz said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detective Division at 203-230-4000.  Detectives Michael DePalma and Brian Stewart are continuing with the investigation, Diaz said.
