Come celebrate the town of Hamden's commitment to improving the safety of Whitneyville!

One of the Whitneyville Civic Association's top five priorities over the past several years was improving the safety of the five-way intersection at Mather, Belmont and King streets.

Now that the first phase of the safety improvements at the five corners is complete, please join us for a celebration block party on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 3:30 pm.  We will have snacks, drinks and a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony.  We hope you can join us, even if it is only for 10 minutes!

Mayor Jackson and other town officials will be on hand for a ribbon cutting and will join in our celebration.
