2 Crashes Cleared On I-84 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — Two crashes on Interstate 84 in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon caused traffic nightmares for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but both are now cleared.

The DOT reported a three-vehicle accident on I-84 West between exits 50 and 48, resulting in the two left lanes being closed.

That accident was first reported at 3:04 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.

Then, the DOT reported a two-vehicle accident on I-84 West between exits 51 and 50, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

That wreck was first reported at 3:16 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
