Hartford PD To Conduct Drunk Driving Checkpoint

The enforcement operation will take place on a busy street in the city later this week.

HARTFORD, CT — City police are planning a drunk driving enforcement spot check later this week at a busy section of town.

The Hartford Police Department said its traffic division will conduct an "operating under the influence" checkpoint on Thursday, Dec. 18, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19.

It will take place in the area of 100 Barbour St.

"This checkpoint is part of HPD’s ongoing effort to keep our roadways safe and is funded through the CT DOT OUI Enforcement Program," wrote the HPD.
