Teen Shot In Hartford Thursday Night: Police
The 17-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby hospital.
HARTFORD, CT — A 17-year-old male was shot in Hartford Thursday night and taken to the hospital.
According to the Hartford Police Department, officers were called to 144 Hartland St. at about 6:51 p.m. Thursday following a Shotspotter activation.
"Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was alert and conscious on scene," wrote the HPD in a statement.

His injury was described as non-life-threatening, and he was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation.

This investigation remains "active and ongoing," police said.
