Aaron Elson's Presentation At The East Hartford WW II Musuem

On Saturday, July 26th

Tales of Love, Food, Jumping Out Or Airplanes, Meeting General Patton and Winning World War II

Since going to a reunion of his father’s tank battalion more than thirty years ago, Aaron Elson has recorded some 800 hours of interviews and conversations with men and women of the Greatest Generation and is the author of "Tanks for the Memories" and "Up Above the Clouds to Die". As he listened to the stories as told by Veterans, he noticed certain universal themes about paratroopers, tankers, prisoners of war and love.
Aaron shared some of these stories in his presentation on Saturday, July 26th at the newly opened, World War II Museum, Research & Education Center located at 102 Pitkin Street, East Hartford, CT.
