Second I-84 Hartford Crash Cleared: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 84 caused traffic problems for motorists in Hartford Thursday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 East between exits 50 and 51, resulting in the closure of the right lane.

The wreck was first reported at 12:36 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.

Earlier in the day, I-84 West's interchange with Interstate 91 was closed for a time after a crash, but it has since reopened.
