Second Route 2 Crash Cleared In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Another multi-vehicle crash on Route 2 in East Hartford Monday caused some traffic headaches, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the three-vehicle wreck was on Route 2 West between exits 4 and 3, resulting in the closure of the left and center lanes.

The crash was first reported at 2:58 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.

Another crash was reported Monday morning on that roadway nearby, causing a lane closure and traffic delays as well.
