Three-Vehicle Crash On I-84 In Hartford Cleared: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Hartford made for a messy morning commute Thursday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports that a three-vehicle accident occurred on I-84 West between exits 50 and 48, resulting in the closure of the two left lanes there.

It also resulted in a 1.7-mile traffic jam between exits 55 and 48.

The crash was first reported at 7:24 a.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
