Crash On I-84 In East Hartford Cleared: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in East Hartford Thursday afternoon caused traffic issues for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it has since been cleared.

The DOT reports the accident happened on I-84 West between exits 55 and 54, resulting in the two left lanes being closed and, later, just the shoulder being closed.

The crash was first reported at 2:30 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
