Family Fun Fair To Celebrate Summer's End In Hartford

The free celebration will feature food, entertainment, and free school supplies for children for back-to-school.

HARTFORD, CT — The city is hosting a special event this Saturday, Aug. 16, that will celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of the new school year that starts later this month.

It is hosting the "Discovering Hartford Family Fun Fair & Expo" at the Samuel V. Arroyo Recreation Center at Pope Park, 30 Pope Park Drive, Hartford.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and it is not only free, but it will feature free giveaways for back-to-school.
