High School In Hartford Put On Lockdown Due To Guns

HARTFORD, CT — One student was detained and a high school in the city was put on lockdown after two guns were found in the school building, according to multiple reports.

WTNH Channel 8 reported Friday afternoon that the guns were found inside Weaver High School in Hartford, with one student being detained in the incident.

WVIT Channel 30 reported the school was in a "code yellow" lockdown and security officers had secured the building's classrooms.

No injuries have been reported.
