"They are designed for community members to rediscover their neighborhoods, meet community
organizations that support well-being, and help residents connect with their neighbors," said Trinity Health.

"Attendees will have the opportunity to explore resources and organizations to help live a healthier and better life while celebrating the surrounding neighborhoods."

Saturday’s event, which is free to the public, will provide various health screenings such as blood
pressure, lung cancer screening, mammography appointments, and additional health and wellness opportunities by Trinity Health Of New England healthcare providers.

It will also showcase booths from neighborhood organizations and health services; networking opportunities with fellow community members; free food and live entertainment; and fun activities for all ages.

“This event offers a unique opportunity to discover what neighborhood organizations have to offer in the ongoing effort to build vibrant, healthy, and thriving communities in Hartford,” said Carolyn Alessi, regional director of community health and well-being at the Curtis D. Robinson Center for Health Equity, Saint Francis Hospital.
