Man Rushed To Hospital After Being Shot In Hartford: Police

The shooting happened early Monday morning (Dec. 22) in the city.

HARTFORD, CT — City police are investigating an early morning shooting in Hartford that sent one man to the hospital.

The Hartford Police Department said officers were called to 101 Benton St. at about 1:17 a.m. Monday morning for a report of shots fired.

When responders arrived, they located a gunshot victim.

The victim, a male in his 40s, was transported to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
