Massive Traffic Jam In Hartford Due To Truck Rollover

WEST HARTFORD, CT — An overturned truck on Interstate 84 in Hartford early Monday morning is causing major traffic headaches for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports an overturned motor vehicle on I-84 east between exits 50 and 51, resulting in the closure of the left and center lanes of that highway.

The accident initially caused some issues on the other side of the highway, with traffic halted on I-84 West between exits 50 and 48 as well, resulting in the left lane there being closed.

That lane, however, has since reopened.

It is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
