Man Shot In East Hartford: Police
The investigation resulted in a local street being closed Monday morning into the afternoon.

EAST HARTFORD, CT — Local police have swarmed a residence in East Hartford Monday morning after a man was shot.
According to the East Hartford Police Department, the incident happened at 50 Bidwell Ave. following a report of an adult male who was shot.
The EHPD said the man sustained "non-life-threatening injuries" and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police said several officers and detectives were at the scene, and Bidwell Avenue was closed at the Tolland Street and Burnside Avenue entrances.
According to the EHPD at 12:08 p.m. Monday, no suspect is in custody and more information would be released as the investigation continues.
