Motorcyclist Killed In Crash: Hartford Police

The driver was taken to Hartford Hospital and later died, according to police.

HARTFORD, CT — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday night in Hartford’s South End neighborhood, according to police.

Officers responded shortly after 8 p.m. to the 700 block of Maple Avenue for a report of a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash and found a Yamaha off-road motorcycle in the street along with its driver, who had life-threatening injuries, police said. He was taken to Hartford Hospital and later died, according to police.

The second driver and vehicle, a Lexus SUV, were found nearby in the 100 block of Bushnell Street, police said.
