Person Killed In Shooting: Hartford Police

HARTFORD, CT — A person was shot and killed early Sunday in the Northeast neighborhood of Hartford, according to police.

Officers responded around 1:40 a.m. to the 3200 block of Main Street for a report of a shooting and found the victim, who was unresponsive, police said. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.

The shooting is under investigation, police said.
