Pratt Street Winter Village Comes To Downtown Hartford

The Pratt Street Historic District and Shelbourne Global Solutions will host the inaugural year of the Pratt Street Winter Village, an open-air outdoor holiday market in Downtown Hartford. Over the duration of the event series, the Winter Village will feature 55 local small businesses, sponsored by The Hartford.

The Pratt Street Winter Village will be open from 11:00am–3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, beginning November 26th and running through December 18th. Each day, participants can shop from 10 vendors while they enjoy live musical performances, holiday demonstrations, specials from Pratt Street’s restaurants and bars, and goods from Pratt Street retail businesses. Incoming Pratt Street businesses will also be participating, including Urban Lodge Brewing, which will host a pop-up beer garden on the street.

Lumi Hospitality aims to create a holiday market that will not only drive foot traffic into Downtown Hartford but will also provide an opportunity for local small businesses to sell their wares, and Hartford-based artists and live musicians to showcase their talents. The agency also aims to create a holiday experience that encourages visitors to spend a full day in the city and attend other Downtown Hartford holiday events, such as Winterfest, Winterfair, and Hartford Glow.

The Hartford, which insures nearly 1.5 million small businesses across the US, is the presenting small business tent sponsor of the Pratt Street Winter Village.

The Hartford’s employees will join The Pratt Street Winter Village’s Downtown Business Day on Thursday, December. 8th. The mid-week market will encourage all Downtown Hartford employees to step away from their desks and enjoy an afternoon filled with holiday-themed activities, shopping, and food and drink.
