Two-Vehicle Crash Cleared On I-84 In East Hartford: UPDATE

EAST HARTFORD, CT — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in East Hartford Tuesday afternoon caused traffic headaches for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it was quickly cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 East between exits 53 and 55, resulting in the left lane being closed.

The accident was first reported at 2:26 p.m., and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
