Two-Vehicle Wreck Slows I-84 In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic on Interstate 84 in Hartford is backed up following a two-vehicle accident late Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the crash was on I-84 East between exits 48 and 49, resulting in the center lane being closed.

The wreck was first reported at 4:24 p.m., and it is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
