HARTFORD/WEST HARTFORD/BLOOMFIELD, CT — The University of Hartford Thursday announced that university leaders had chosen the school's seventh president.

UHart officials said Lawrence P. Ward, Ed.D., an administrator at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., will take over UHart on July 1.
