Water Main Break Causes Traffic Issue In Hartford: Police

A city roadway is closed on Wednesday afternoon, along with access to two Interstate highways.

HARTFORD, CT — A water main break is causing a traffic mess for Hartford motorists, with the incident closing a city street and impeding access to two nearby Interstate highways.

The Hartford Police Department said at about midday Wednesday that Morgan Street is closed at Market Street in the city.

This has also resulted in no access to Interstate 84 East or the Interstate 91 on-ramps in that area, police said.
