Celebrity Chef To Host Pop-Up At Foxwoods Ahead Of Restaurant Opening

A chef famous for his appearances on a Food Network show will be featured in a pop-up event at Foxwoods next month.

LEDYARD, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino will be hosting a pop up with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto ahead of his ramen restaurant, Momosan’s, official opening this spring.

The event will be Feb. 1 from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. at the Grand Pequot Tower Rotunda.

Guests will be able to meet Chef Morimoto and also try his famous tonkotsu ramen that will be served at Momosan Foxwoods by Morimoto, located across from Cedars Steaks & Oysters on the dining concourse of the Great Cedar Hotel.

Morimoto is well known for his role on Iron Chef, a Japanese cooking show that aired regularly on The Food Network, and has a total of 24 restaurants.

Momosan is the seventh location of Morimoto's restaurant and will debut in the spring.

The 150-seat restaurant joins other recent celebrity-related additions to the Foxwoods dining lineup, including Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and Sprinkletown by pasty chef Zac Young.
