Martha Stewart’s The Bedford Coming to Foxwoods, Major Upgrades Begin

MASHANTUCKET, CT — Foxwoods resort casino has big changes in the works including the addition of a restaurant by Martha Stewart, major renovations to the Grand Cedar Hotel, and the relocation of a poker room.

Martha Stewart’s The Bedford Coming to Foxwoods

The Bedford by Martha Stewart will open this fall. The restaurant is inspired by Stewart's 1925 farmhouse in Bedford, New York.

The Bedford will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, "featuring dishes from her favorite seasonal recipes with locally sourced ingredients," according to a Foxwoods statement.

The Bedford has another location at Paris Las Vegas which opened in 2022.

The restaurant, which will be located in the Grand Pequot Tower, "features a thoughtfully curated menu inspired by Martha's personal favorites, including her Kurobuta Pork Chop, Niçoise Salad, and Martha’s family recipe for Pierogies, as well as some of her famous cocktails such as the Martha-tini and her frozen pomegranate Martha-rita."

“The Bedford at Foxwoods Resort Casino will provide diners with a glimpse into the way I entertain and host at my farmhouse in Bedford, New York,” Stewart said in a statement. “We have worked so hard to perfect this beautiful and inviting space, as well as curate a delicious variety of my most favored food and beverages recipes, which we are excited for guests to enjoy later this year.”

Grand Cedar Hotel Undergoing Major Renovations

In addition to the new restaurant, Foxwoods will be embarking on renovations to the Grand Cedar Hotel. The multi-year project will transform the hotel into "a contemporary retreat that pays homage to the surrounding land of the Mashantucket Pequot reservation," according to Foxwoods.

The renovations will include increased ceiling heights, new bathrooms, upgraded fixtures, new furniture, and a new lobby with a fire pit designed to make the hotel feel like a boutique woodland retreat.

Poker Room Relocating to Fox Tower

The Poker Room will be relocated to Fox Tower where it will "provide an enhanced experience" for poker players with more amenities, live table games, and numerous restaurant option.

The resort casino is celebrating 33 years in business and served as the first East Coast filming location for reality show Hell's Kitchen, which shot seasons 23 and 24 at Foxwoods.

Exciting Expansions at Foxwoods

A massive water park and resort, Great Wolf Lodge, is on track to open this spring as well.
