Iron Chef To Open Japanese Restaurant At Foxwoods

LEDYARD, CT — A celebrity chef will be opening a restaurant at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Momosan, the seventh location of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto's restaurant, is set to debut in spring 2025.

The new addition brings the renowned chef's Japanese cuisine to Foxwoods and will be located in the Great Cedar Concourse. Momosan will feature "signature dishes including Gyoza, Nigiri and Sushi Rolls, Ramen including Chef’s classics Tonkotsu, Spicy Tan-Tan and Tokyo Chicken, as well as fan favorites like the Soft-Shell Crab Bao and Sticky Ribs."

The 150-seat restaurant joins other recent celebrity-related additions to the Foxwoods dining lineup, including Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and Sprinkletown by pasty chef Zac Young.

Momosan will join the 47 establishments currently in operation at Foxwoods.

Morimoto "has created a bridge between the culinary traditions of his native Japan and the American palate, bringing intense excitement, exquisite technique, and perfectly balanced flavors to countless diners throughout the world," according to his bio.

He is well known for his role on Iron Chef, a Japanese cooking show that aired regularly on The Food Network and has a total of 24 restaurants.
