Ledyard Election Results 2022: Ballot Question Results, Vote Totals

Here are the vote totals for every race in Ledyard's 2022 state and federal elections.

LEDYARD, CT — Ledyard voters went to the polls Tuesday to cast votes in state and federal elections. Below are the unofficial vote totals from each race according to the Secretary of State.

In Connecticut, Gov. Ned Lamont won reelection as did U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, and Democrats swept the top state offices including: Secretary of State, Stephanie Thomas, Treasurer, Erick Russell, Comptroller, Sean Scanlon, and Attorney General William Tong.

On the Congressional level, four Democratic incumbents, Rosa L. DeLauro, Jim Himes, Joe Courtney, John Larson, rolled to victory, while the race between Republican George Logan and incumbent Democrat Jahana Hayes remains too close to call as of Wednesday.

On Facebook, the Ledyard CT Republican Town Committee said that "Both advisory questions on the ballot in Ledyard were approved: YES to early voting, and YES to recreational marijuana sales in Town."

  • Ned Lamont and Susan Bysiewicz (Democratic Party): 2,819
  • Bob Stefanowski and Laura Devlin (Republican Party): 2,773

  • Robert Hotaling and Stewart “Chip” Beckett (Independent Party): 95

U.S. Senator

  • Richard Blumenthal (Democratic Party): 2,929

  • Catherine A. Osten (Democratic, Independent, Working Families Party): 3,158
  • Pietro Camardella (Republican Candidate): 2,563

Districtwide, Osten received 19,670 votes and Camardella earned 15,458 votes.

43rd District

  • Ashley Gillece (Democratic Party): 1,288
  • Gregory S. Howard (Republican, Independent Party): 1,499

Districtwide, Howard received 5,987 votes and Gillece earned 4,584 votes.


45th District

  • Kayla Thompson (Democratic Party): 643
  • Brian Lanoue (Republican Party): 755

Districtwide, Lanoue received 6,040 votes and Thompson earned 3,560 votes.


139th District

  • Kevin Ryan (Democratic, Independent, Working Families Party): 804
  • Mark Adams (Republican Party): 701

Districtwide, Ryan received 4,146 votes and Adams earned 3,672 votes.
