The arrested an individual Tuesday on an arrest warrant stemming from a larceny investigation, according a press release on the town's website.
Benjamin Illif, 21, of 5 Bittersweet Drive in Gales Ferry, was arrested and charged with second-degree larceny for his involvement in a theft from a residence on Brewster Drive in Gales Ferry.
Illif was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond with a Feb. 21 court date at GA 10 in New London.
