Federal Grant Supporting Car Seat Giveaway Program In Manchester

Several Manchester agencies are teaming up for a free child car seat

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police and several agencies and Gentle Love Connections are teaming up to offer free child car seats.

A car seat distribution event has been planned for May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northwest Park in Manchester.

This event is being funded by a $25,000 American Rescue Plan Nonprofit Support Grant awarded by the Sustainability Commission for Manchester.

Just 45 appointments will be available on a first-come basis and families will have a chance to sign up once residency documents are verified.
