Hope for the Holidays Food Drive
Manchester, CT – The Academy, the area’s premier center for Fitness, Defense, and Empowerment, announces the launch of its Emergency Food Drive to support local food banks during the holiday season. As a community-focused organization, The Academy is committed to stepping up when support is needed most.
This year, many families throughout our community are waiting in line for food—and far too many are going home without any. What should be a season of warmth, joy, and shared meals has become a time of worry for countless households facing food insecurity. No one should struggle to fill their table during the holidays. By coming together, we can help ensure every family has the chance to experience the dignity, comfort, and hope that a holiday meal brings.
To meet this growing need, The Academy is collecting non-perishable food items of all kinds. Community members, students, families, and anyone wishing to help are encouraged to participate and make a meaningful difference.

The donation drive runs from Tuesday, December 2nd through Saturday, December 20th.
Items can be dropped off at The Academy during regular business hours in the front Hallway. Even one donated item can change someone’s holiday. A single can, a box of pasta, or a jar of peanut butter can help bring nourishment and comfort to families who need it most this season. Together, we can make sure no table has to remain empty.
