Manchester Student Awarded DCG Foundation Scholarship

MANCHESTER, CT — The Wallingford-based Diversity Construction Group Foundation has awarded Akua Owusu of Manchester, as the recipient of the 2024 Scholarship Award.

It's the eighth annual award.

Owusu will be granted $2,500 to support her educational journey by covering tuition, course materials or other fees.

Originally from Ghana, Owusu graduated from Manchester High School ninth in a class of 342 students.

Starting this fall, she will embark on her educational path towards a civil engineering degree at the University of Connecticut.
