Big Lottery Prize Sold In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $10,000 was recently sold in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

An Oakdale resident won $10,000 on a 10X Cash 17th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Maganti Oil Energy Inc. at 365 South Broad St. in Meriden, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
