A Meriden resident bought the winning ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

MERIDEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $20,000 was recently sold in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Meriden resident won $20,000 on a Super Cash Wheel scratch ticket that was sold at Quik – Pik at 692 East Main St. in Meriden, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
