Big Lottery Prizes Sold In Meriden

Two Meriden residents recently won big lottery prizes that were sold at businesses in the city, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

MERIDEN, CT — Two scratch tickets worth a combined $70,000 were recently sold at businesses in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Meriden resident won $50,000 on a UConn Championship Cash ticket that was sold at Quik – Pik at 692 East Main St. in Meriden, according to lottery officials.

Another Meriden resident won $20,000 on a 20X Cash 9th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Shell Gas Station at 583 West Main St. in Meriden.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
