This distribution event is a short-term solution for this week of holiday gatherings and travel. As additional kits are obtained from the state more distribution events will be planned.

The City of Meriden stresses that everyone who is eligible for vaccination get the COVID-19 vaccine, and those who are eligible for a booster shot get the booster. Wearing a mask over the nose and mouth, washing hands and using hand sanitizer, avoiding large crowds, and staying home if you are not feeling well or are under quarantine or isolation is key to slowing the spread.
