'Coffee With Your Senator' Scheduled in Meriden

From the Connecticut General Assembly: Sen. Len Suzio on Friday, Apr. 28 will host a “Coffee With Your Senator” event from 8 to 9 a.m. at Dunkin’ Donuts at 893 E. Main Street. Suzio will discuss a variety of issues that he has been working on at the State Capitol, including the reform of the “Early Release” prison program for violent offenders, the de-funding of the state’s Mileage Tax study, restoring funding for Honor Guard rifle salutes at veterans’ funeral services, and his proposal to provide state residents with relief from the state income tax.
