Drug Takeback Event To Be Held In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — The Meriden Police Department, along with members of the Health Department and Hartford Healthcare's Rushford Center, will participate in the DEA National prescription drug takeback event on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The event will take place at the Meriden Green (State Street side) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We will be set up along State Street across from the Transit Center and the CHC Parking lot,” police wrote in a news release. “Please stop by to drop off your unwanted, unused, or expired medication for safe disposal, learn about some of the Health Department's programs, and receive some free Narcan training.”
